A free counselling service for Victorians struggling with mental health issues or emotional distress.

Head to Health is a collaborative program delivered by the Commonwealth Government and Primary Health Networks in Victoria. Head to Health is a person-centred, recovery oriented and evidence-based support service that provides counselling to help those struggling. Victorians who are in need of support are encouraged to phone the private and confidential helpline where they can have direct access to a trained professional. If needed, a caller can be referred on to a local Head to Health Mental Health Hub - there are two based in Regional Victoria - for longer term support. In Ballarat, Head to Health's Mental Health Hub is based at Ballarat Community Health.
