A state-wide service that provides individualised, consumer centred care for the trans, gender diverse and non-binary people, their families and partners. The Gender Clinic also provides information and resources for health professionals who work with patients who are gender diverse.

The Monash Health Gender Clinic is a specialist public health service for the Trans, Gender Diverse and Non-Binary community in Victoria. The clinic offers multidisciplinary care that create a safe space for people to explore gender identity and help to improve the wellbeing and health outcomes of people who are gender diverse in the community.

The Gender Clinic’s team encompasses psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, a social worker, project/ research worker amongst others. The clinic also has a partnership with the Royal Children’s Hospital Gender Service, the La Trobe University Voice Clinic and other key organisations experienced in delivering transgender healthcare. The Clinic also provides a secondary consultation service for health professionals working with trans, gender diverse or non-binary patients to help provide appropriate and safe care.

The clinic accepts referrals for people aged 17 years and over who live in Victoria.

This service is available to anyone over the age of 17 living in Victoria.

Fees may be applicable for some services.
