A referral service to support and connect vulnerable children aged under 17 years and their families with community supports to protect and promote healthy development.
The Orange Door is a free service aimed at protecting vulnerable children and their families from family violence. The service supports families requiring extra support caring for their children. In Central Highlands, The Orange Door is a strong collaboration between Child and Family Services (CAFS) Ballarat, Berry St (Western Region) and Ballarat and District Aboriginal Cooperative (BADAC) and the Victorian Government. Services include:
- Out of hours telephone support (24 hours a day, seven days a week)
- Women, children and young people's family violence services
- Child and family services
- Aboriginal services
- Men's family violence services
Eligibility Criteria
This services is available to anyone seeking to support children aged under 17 years living in Australia.
